PadraigC Great words & vocals, beautiful piano. The minimal field recordings hint at valleys, lakes and mountains. I loved the instrumental versions as well. Favorite track: flowers of burden (instrumental).

about

Through dance, music and poetry, I search to elicit the ways of water, how it is related to us humans, how we are interwoven with it's movements and shapes. Starting from this sense of unity that we came from and that we long to return to, I invite you to walk with me. The pictures and words speak in metaphors, opening the space for your story, your questions to unfold.

The ocean is like a basin that holds life. Just as we are a bowl in which our experience takes place. Water teaches us a lot about the ways of our minds and the cycles of ongoing life. Influences come from outside and from the depths up to the surface. Our consciousness lies on it like a silk blanket. Our ability to perceive the world depends on the stillness of the surface. When there is clarity you can see from the grounds up to the sky, boundaries blur, everything becomes one. How to find stillness, when there are winds that startle the water to waves, when the grounds crack open demanding the water to determined shapes. The path to stillness is the same for water as for us.
When you accept the broken you will find wholeness and peace, it's is the beauty of the incomplete, the strength in our scars, the flowers of burden.
